How it works

Each state is placed in its time zone. Arizona (outside the Navajo Nation), Hawaii and Puerto Rico do not change their clocks, so their gap to the rest of the country changes in March and November. Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, North Dakota, Nebraska, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas span two time zones; a count for one of them is shared out by where 67Leads' listed businesses in that state are. Times are computed with the IANA time zone database for each date in the plan, so a daylight saving change inside the plan is handled.

There is no single best time to send that holds for every list; a weekday morning in the recipient's time is a common starting point. Test a few times on your own list and keep the one that gets replies.

Questions

What time should I send cold emails to the US?

Pick the local time you want emails to arrive, then send to each time zone at its own offset: Eastern first, Pacific three hours later. This planner turns that into your own clock times.

How do I schedule emails for different time zones?

Group recipients by time zone (a state column is enough for most of the US) and schedule one batch per zone. The planner lists the batches in send order.

Does daylight saving time change my send times?

Yes, when you and your recipients change clocks on different dates, or one side does not change at all, such as Arizona, Hawaii or most of Asia. The planner computes every date separately.

Which states have two time zones?

Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, North Dakota, Nebraska, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas.
