67Leads › Methodology
Every 67Leads record starts as a public map listing, is graded against its trade (off-trade rows are removed: 6% so far), and gets its email from the company's own website. Emails are checked against the mail server and labelled valid, risky or invalid; nothing is sent. Counts are computed live; as of 5 Nov 2026 there are 95,350 sellable records.

Get 67 leads freeA search for a trade in a place runs against public map listings (Google Maps results). Each listing brings the company name, category, phone, website, address, rating and review count. Listings are de-duplicated by phone number first, then by listing ID, then by name and city, so one business is one record. The oldest sellable record was first seen 9 Sep 2026.
A map search for "tree service" also returns dentists, golf clubs and Christmas tree farms. Every listing is graded core (the trade), adjacent (a close neighbour, such as a landscaper for tree service) or rejected. Rejected rows are never counted, shown or sold. So far 5,773 of 101,405 scraped listings (6%) were rejected.
For each company with a website, the site is read for a published email address and, where the About or contact page names one, an owner. An owner name is kept only if it starts with a known first name, so "Contact Us Today" never appears as a person. 36,021 of 95,350 sellable companies (38%) have an email; 5,650 (6%) have an owner name; 18,681 have no website at all and are best worked by phone.
Each email is checked by asking the company's mail server whether the mailbox exists. Nothing is sent. Valid: the server confirmed the mailbox (7,093 emails, 20% of emails). Risky: the server accepts any address, so the mailbox cannot be proven (7,394, 21%). Invalid: the server said the mailbox does not exist; those are not exported as good addresses. An address the check could not reach is reported as unverified, never as valid. If an email we marked valid hard-bounces, tell us and we credit it back. Addresses marked risky or unknown carry no such guarantee.
Scraping, enrichment and verification run continuously, and every count on the site is computed from the warehouse when the page is served. In the last 30 days 40,678 records were added and 33,083 were re-read or re-checked. Each list page shows the day its rows last changed, and the sitemap's lastmod is that same date.
Any listed business can opt out at /remove with no account. The opt-out is matched on the phone number, email address and website domain, and is applied on every read (search, export, counts, these pages) and on every write: later scrapes and enrichment do not collect new data about a business that asked to be left alone.
It opens an SMTP conversation with the company's mail server and asks whether that exact mailbox exists. Yes is valid; a server that accepts every address is risky; a refusal is invalid. No email is sent.
No. Every address is read from the company's own website. None is built from a first-name-at-domain pattern.

They are exact counts of the records 67Leads holds under the same filter used for search and export, so a page never quotes a number the export would not deliver. They are not a count of every business that exists.
At /remove, with no account. Matching listings are hidden from search, exports and every page, and enrichment will not collect new data about them on later scrapes.
