The lemlist columns
lemlist is a cold email and multichannel sequencer. The file has these columns, in this order. Rating and review counts are left out of every tool layout.
| Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
email | The email address read from the company's own website. |
firstName | The owner's first name, split from the owner name where the company's site gives one; blank when it does not. |
lastName | The owner's last name, split the same way; blank for a single name. |
companyName | The business name. |
companyDomain | The website's domain, without www. |
phone | The main phone number in +1 format. |
website | The company's website, where it has one. |
city | City. |
state | Two-letter state code. |
category | The trade the business was graded into. |
pitchTags | Pitch angles on the row, such as no website or site down, separated by semicolons. |
emailStatus | valid, risky or unverified: the result of our SMTP mailbox check. |
noWebsite | yes when the business has no website. |
siteDown | yes when its website did not load when last checked. |
timezone | The business's time zone, for send windows. |
Import steps in lemlist
- In lemlist, open Campaigns and the campaign, then Leads list, then Import new leads.
- Choose CSV import and drop in the 67Leads file.
- Review the mapping: email, firstName, lastName, companyName, companyDomain and phone match lemlist's standard variables; other columns become custom fields. Continue.
- Choose how to handle duplicates and select Import leads, then check the lead count and preview a variable in the email.
What lemlist's import requires
- Every row must have an email address; it is the lead's ID in lemlist.
- Row 1 holds the column names, which should match lemlist's names exactly and contain no spaces.
- Use a plain .csv file rather than an Excel CSV.

Filters worth setting
- Leave the default on: only emails our mailbox check confirmed valid. Adding risky addresses grows the list and the bounce risk with it.
- Use Email_Status and Email_Type in your copy rules: a role inbox such as info@ reads a cold email differently from a named owner.
- Pitch tags such as no website or site down give a first line that is true for that business.

No. The headers follow lemlist's own import documentation, linked on this page. Check the mapping screen lemlist shows anyway; it is quick.
Each row says valid, risky or unverified. 7,056 addresses (12% of those on file) were confirmed by asking the mail server whether the mailbox exists. If an email we marked valid hard-bounces, tell us and we credit it back. Addresses marked risky or unknown carry no such guarantee.
