The Instantly columns
Instantly is a cold email sequencer. The file has these columns, in this order. Rating and review counts are left out of every tool layout.
| Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
Email | The email address read from the company's own website. |
First Name | The owner's first name, split from the owner name where the company's site gives one; blank when it does not. |
Last Name | The owner's last name, split the same way; blank for a single name. |
Company Name | The business name. |
Phone | The main phone number in +1 format. |
Website | The company's website, where it has one. |
Location | City and state, as one field. |
City | City. |
State | Two-letter state code. |
Category | The trade the business was graded into. |
Pitch | Pitch angles on the row, such as no website or site down, separated by semicolons. |
Email_Status | valid, risky or unverified: the result of our SMTP mailbox check. |
Email_Type | role for a shared inbox such as info@, personal for a named mailbox. |
No_Website | yes when the business has no website. |
Site_Down | yes when its website did not load when last checked. |
Timezone | The business's time zone, for send windows. |
Import steps in Instantly
- In Instantly, open the Engage tab, open the campaign and go to its Leads section.
- Choose Upload CSV and pick the 67Leads file.
- Check the mapping Instantly suggests. Email must be mapped; First Name, Last Name, Company Name, Phone, Website and Location are its predefined fields, and every other column can be kept as a custom variable for your sequence.
- Leave the duplicate check across campaigns and lists on, decide whether to use Instantly's optional Verify Leads, then choose Upload all.
What Instantly's import requires
- Every row needs an email address.
- Column names sit in the first row, start with a capital letter, are unique and are at most 20 characters; at most 50 variables per upload.
- Save the file as UTF-8.
Instantly also takes leads without a file: Send to Instantly / Smartlead in the export bar adds the leads you export to a campaign with your Instantly API key.

Filters worth setting
- Leave the default on: only emails our mailbox check confirmed valid. Adding risky addresses grows the list and the bounce risk with it.
- Use Email_Status and Email_Type in your copy rules: a role inbox such as info@ reads a cold email differently from a named owner.
- Pitch tags such as no website or site down give a first line that is true for that business.

Yes. Besides the CSV, the app can add the leads you export to a Instantly campaign directly with your Instantly API key, from Send to Instantly / Smartlead in the export bar.
Each row says valid, risky or unverified. 7,056 addresses (12% of those on file) were confirmed by asking the mail server whether the mailbox exists. If an email we marked valid hard-bounces, tell us and we credit it back. Addresses marked risky or unknown carry no such guarantee.
