What is Lead list?
A lead list is a set of companies or people you intend to contact, with the fields needed to reach and qualify them, such as name, phone, email, website and location.
Also called: prospect list, B2B lead list.
A lead list can be built, bought or rented. Built lists come from your own research; bought lists come from a vendor's database or a scraping tool; rented lists are mailed by the owner on your behalf and never handed over. Whichever the route, the questions are the same: where did each record come from, when was it last checked, and does it match your ideal customer profile.
The fields that matter depend on the channel. Email outreach needs addresses that pass SMTP verification; phone outreach needs numbers and an awareness of the TCPA; direct mail needs a street address. A list that is wide but unverified costs more than a narrow one that is accurate, once bounces and wasted sends are counted.
Buying a list of business email addresses is generally legal in the US; what the law regulates is how you send to it; see CAN-SPAM.
The lead list cost calculator compares what a number of leads costs at 67Leads and at other providers from their published prices, and the lead list cleaner dedupes and tidies a list you already have.
